It’s Lonely in the Barn

Deep into walking the Appalachian Trail, my map gains fresh markings in my own handwriting… and I have no memory of making them.

The warning is simple: some things ain’t meant to be filmed. Chase Hastings hears it and packs his camera anyway.

Reverend Benny Aldrich’s church is dying until he pries open a trapdoor beneath the floorboards and hears voices rising from below.

In 1931, Finn Murphy is offered work by a circus whose ringmaster’s shadow refuses to stay attached.

These stories and others move from remote trails and black forests to forgotten barns and sealed rooms, where ordinary people stumble across secrets that were never meant to be found.

About the Author: Anthony D. Farr

Anthony D Farr grew up a child of the 80s and a teen of the 90s, which makes him very confused as to what generation he belongs. Anthony spent many of his formative years trying to figure out how he could become a superhero, but eventually gave that up (at least until he is a billionaire). He grew up in Georgia, worked, played, lived there for 26 years, and then took off for the cooler climates of New England which heavily influence his writing. Anthony currently resides in Maine with his wife and daughter, and is living a full and happy life.
